SMS Starter

Raita Mitra is a GSM Mobile based remote control system exclusively for the use with water pump sets in agriculture areas. The need of Raita Mitra arised from the routine problems faced by the farmers in operating the pump. They are, fluctuations in power supply, difficult terrain, fear of animals on the way to pump house, hazardous locations of the pumps along the river or water storage beds, shock hazards, rains etc.

With the help of Raita Mitra:
A farmer can control the pumps from anywhere in India.He can operate the pump sets by just giving a miss call.He can check an availability of power supply at the pump.He can send message to switch on or switch off the pump.He gets an alert message every time when he switched ON or OFF the pump sets.

Operation:
Raita Mitra is connected to the existing starter. A farmer has to simply send a message or give a miss call to the SIM inserted in the Raita Mitra set. He has to send message as 1 to switch ON the pump and 2 switches OFF the pump. He will get the confirmation message whenever He switches ON or switches OFF the pump sets. It can be connected to any existing electrical starter and motor pumps. Hence, there is no necessity of replacing the pumping set. For higher H.P pumps, it can be connected along with the protection systems. If the motor is running dry it will switch OFF the motor within one minute and send him the Dry run message to his mobile.
